Data fields (for developers)

  • Plan id, price, currency, billing interval
  • Commission percentage and effective date
  • Subscription status: active, past due, pending cancel, cancelled
  • Next renewal date and proration amount
  • Payment method token (last four, expiry)
  • Invoice id, PDF url, status, retry count

Notes

  1. Page and current plan card. Source: subscription record from billing provider. Shows renewal date, payment method (last four digits only), and actions. Event: membership_viewed.
  2. Commission rate shown clearly. The rate that applies to new bookings is always visible here and on the offer builder. Bookings already paid keep the rate in force at payment. Savings tile compares against the next plan down, for motivation only.
  3. Plan comparison. Same content as Membership pricing, single source of truth in a plan config table. Current plan column highlighted. Feature rows driven by plan flags (service limit, library access, payout frequency). All amounts labelled example in the UI until pricing is confirmed.
  4. Upgrade. Immediate with proration; shows exact charge today and next renewal. Requires terms tick; button label "Confirm upgrade". SCA/3-D Secure challenge may appear. Error: "Your card was declined. Update your card and try again." Event: membership_upgraded.
  5. Downgrade and cancel. Takes effect at period end; shows what will be paused (services above new limit, library access). Exit reason optional. Confirmation email sent. Teacher can undo until period end via "Keep my plan".
  6. Billing history. Invoice PDFs with VAT lines where applicable. Failed payments show retry schedule (3 attempts over 7 days) and a banner with Update card. After final failure the account moves to the Founding limits.

Mobile

Plan card goes full width; the comparison table scrolls horizontally with the first column sticky; upgrade and cancel cards stack; invoice table becomes a list of cards.

States

Founding member: current plan card shows "Free until 31 Mar 2027" and a prominent upgrade prompt. Payment failed: red banner "We could not take your payment" with Update card. Cancelled-pending: yellow banner "Your membership ends on 1 Dec" with Keep my plan. Loading: skeleton card. Error: "We could not load your membership" with Retry.
