Notes

  1. Page header. Tax year selector filters every figure and the CSV export. Export columns: date, booking ref, gross, commission, net, funds status, payout id.
  2. Where is my money? explainer. Must make the three fund states unmistakable: HELD (customer has paid, session not yet confirmed delivered, not the teacher's money yet), RELEASED (48 hour window passed or customer confirmed OK; queued for the next payout), PAID (sent to bank). Held and released balances use different badge colours in the KPI row and in the table. Source: payments provider (e.g. Stripe Connect) balances plus internal ledger.
  3. Transactions table. One row per booking line (plus refunds and adjustments). Sort by date or net. Filters: status (Held, Released, Paid, Refunded, Disputed), type (booking, add-on, refund, adjustment), date range. Held rows show the expected release date. Disputed rows are frozen and link to the case.
  4. Payout schedule. Frequency options depend on plan. Minimum threshold and bank holiday behaviour in a tooltip. Validation: cannot change frequency within 24 hours of a scheduled run.
  5. Payout account. Hosted onboarding of the payments provider (identity and bank). Changing the account triggers a 72 hour payout hold and an email to the teacher. Error: "We could not verify this account. Check the sort code and account number."
  6. Tax information. Collected for HMRC digital platform reporting. Annual statement lists gross, commission and net per tax year. Not tax advice; link to Help centre.
  7. Invoices. Commission and membership invoices as PDFs. Link to Membership. Event: invoice_downloaded.

Mobile

KPI tiles stack two by two, the fund-flow steps become a vertical list, the table turns into cards with funds status as the headline, and the right-hand cards move below the table.

States

Empty: all balances show £0.00 and "Your first earnings will appear here after your first booking is paid." No payout account: a banner "Set up payouts to receive money" blocks release but not bookings. Loading: skeleton tiles. Error: "We could not load your balance" with Retry. Payout failed: red banner with provider reason and Fix account button. Account on hold: banner with reason and support link.
