Notes

1. Tabs. "To review" lists completed bookings without a review (with days remaining), "My reviews" lists published reviews with edit and view links. Review invitation email and in-app prompt go to this page 48 hours after completion, with a reminder after 7 days.
2. Booking context and verified badge. Confirms the review attaches to a real booking. Access is blocked for bookings that are not completed or where a dispute is open. Review window: 90 days after the event. Data: booking, service, teacher.
3. Overall rating. Required 1 to 5 stars, keyboard accessible, with a text label on hover ("Excellent"). Drives the teacher's average and rating breakdown. Error copy shown inline.
4. Category ratings. Optional sub-ratings (teaching, communication, punctuality, value, fun, safety). Averages displayed on the teacher profile once at least 5 are present. Labels are configurable per category in admin (64-admin-content-categories.html).
5. Written review. Text required, 30 to 2000 characters, optional title up to 80. "Book again" and "who came along" feed structured data and filters. Profanity and contact-detail checks run on submit; flagged text goes to moderation instead of straight to publish with the message "Thanks, we are checking your review and it will appear soon."
6. Photos. Up to 5 images, JPG or PNG, 8 MB each, client-side resize, virus and image-safety scan. Alt text auto-generated as "Photo from review". Consent copy for children's images.
7. Private feedback. Optional free text to Popdance only, used for quality monitoring and can create a support ticket if a safeguarding keyword appears.
8. Privacy and publish. Name display options (initial, first name, anonymous). Honesty tick box required. Publish validates required fields, then shows confirmation "Thank you, your review is live" and returns to the list. Draft autosaves. Editing allowed for 14 days; edits re-enter moderation if text changes. Analytics: review_submitted with rating and category.
9. Side panel explainer. Explains verified reviews and that teacher payment never depends on reviews, per the trust model. Links to 09-trust-safety.html.
10. Problem route. Redirects unhappy customers to the issue and support routes rather than the public review, without discouraging an honest negative review.

Mobile

Single column. Star rating uses large tap targets. Category ratings become a collapsible "Rate the details" accordion. Publish button fixed at the bottom. Photo picker offers camera or library.

States

Already reviewed: page shows the published review with Edit (until day 14). Not eligible (not completed, dispute open, not owner): explanatory message with link to 24-customer-bookings-list.html. Window expired: "Reviews can be left for 90 days after your event." Empty "To review" tab: "Nothing to review right now." Submitting: button spinner. Error: "We could not publish your review. Your answers are saved." Teacher's side (reply and report) is in 52-reviews-manage.html.
