Analytics: wizard_step_view, wizard_step_complete with step number.
  2. Step heading and intro. One question per screen title, plus one line of why we ask. The page URL stays /teachers/join with ?step=4 for deep links and analytics.
  3. Postcode. Required. Lookup via postcode API, stores latitude and longitude for distance search. Only outward area name is public.
  4. Extra areas. Tag input, autocomplete from the location table. Feeds location landing pages and search filters. Max 10.
  5. Inline error. Errors appear under the field and in an error summary at the top that receives focus on failed submit. Never clear valid fields on error.
  6. All steps summary. Developer reference of every field per step. Required fields are marked with an asterisk. Step 1 account creation happens on the first save and logs the user in.
  7. Validation table. Client-side validation on blur, server-side on save. Messages in British English, plain and specific.
  8. Completion. Application status becomes "Submitted" and appears in 61-admin-teacher-approvals.html. Confirmation email sent. Teachers can edit their profile in 45-profile-editor.html while waiting, but the profile is not public until approved.
